Mary McCartney launched her new vegetarian cook book "FOOD" at a launch party at Liberty, a large department store located in Mayfair, London, on Thursday night, May third.

Mary was brought up as a vegetarian  by her parents Paul and Linda, and said  this about her book-

"My cook book comes from my life growing up as a vegetarian and watching my mum cooking in the kitchen. This book is a collection of my recipes and photographs and stories throughout the years really to inspire vegetarian cooking."


Paul featured Mary's book on his website with this video.

Mary's family, including her husband Simon Aboud, Stella and husband Alasdhair Willis, Paul and new bride Nancy Shevell, and  brother James were there to support her.

L.A. Premiere of My Valentine

Stella McCartney hosted the premiere of Paul's new videos for "My Valentine" in a tent behind her West Hollywood Boutique on Friday the 13th, 2012.

The guest list was a mostly young crowd, with many of the women dressed in Stella McCartney creations.  Among the guests were Gwyneth Paltrow, Rumer Willis, Gwen Stefani, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jane Fonda, Pamela Anderson, Woody Harrleson, Reese Witherspoon, Zooey Dechanel, Dave Grohl, and Joan Jett.

I didn't see any mention of Johnny Depp or Natalie Portman , the actors featured in the videos, being at the premiere.

Paul directed the three videos, featuring Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman signing the lyrics to the song Paul penned for his wife,  "My Valentine".


One of the videos features Natalie Portman signing, one uses Johnny Depp signing, and the third video features both Portman and Depp.
Paul's daughter Stella suggested the idea, telling Paul that her friend Natalie Portman knew American Sign Language. 
The videos are beautifully shot, elegant and expressive.
