Paul's fiance Nancy Shevell turned quite a few heads looking stunning in a black sequined backless dress at the premiere of Paul's first ballet, Ocean's Kingdom, at the Lincoln Center.
The couple looked very happy as they walked the red carpet together, and Paul proudly encouraged Nancy to take a turn and show off her backless dress to the press.
Paul has previously written two orchestral scores, but this is the first time he has written the score for a ballet.
"I'd seen the great traditional ballets like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, but I had a very limited knowledge of ballet,” said Paul.
"But since this project I've obviously started to take notice - I went to see Giselle recently in London and was bowled over by the sheer athleticism of the dancers."

The ballet premiered at the NYC Ballet's Fall Gala at Lincoln Center on Thursday, Sept 22, 2011.
Paul's daughter Stella designed the costumes for the ballet.
